S Y N O P S I S
Beauty World 美丽新世界, one of the famous three amusement parks in Singapore first started operations in 1937. It was a popular all-in-one complex, offering Singaporeans with a wide range of entertainment, from shopping, films, games and dancing. It housed a family friendly amusement park, 3 cinemas, a dancing hall, an emporium with many food options and even an indoor sports stadium.Beauty World was at its peak from the 1960s to the 1970s, bustling with activities all year round. This caught the attention of the notorious Axe Gang leader who wants to acquire Beauty World and rule it under his leadership. In an attempt to save their beloved Beauty World, shop owners and patrons come together to raise funds.After many challenges, Beauty World 美丽新世界 was returned to the owners and the Axe Gang was forced to leave the territory.

Leading the Way in Latin Ballroom Dance EducationFounded in Singapore in 2017 by Lorencia Kan, Dancer's Dream Studio (DDS) has quickly become the leading dance school for Kids and Youth Latin Ballroom dance. Lorencia's vision was to introduce children to the world of Latin and Ballroom dance in an engaging, educational, and holistic way.With over 500 students since its inception, DDS offers 2 successful programmes: DDS Latin Dance for Kids Programme and DDS Competition Elite Programme.Our structured Latin syllabus programmes cater to children as young as three years old, nurturing their interest in Latin dance and providing them with numerous opportunities to perform and build their confidence. For dancers seeking to elevate their skills to the next level, our Competition Elite Programme provides specialised training to prepare them to achieve their highest dancing potential on the National and International level.In 2023 alone, DDS dancers participated in 18 competitions across Singapore, Malaysia, China, Taiwan, Thailand, and England, earning a total of 178 Champions in Juvenile Latin, Solo Open, Solo Medallist and Rank New Solo Medallist categories.
